Website Updates: December 2025

Personal life means I’m as busy as ever, but unusually website updates are continuing largely as planned. Here’s a quick summary on what I’ve been up to, and the future plans for the current portfolio of Radio In Malta and Scott’s Transport Site.

Beginning with the former, Radio In Malta has seen quite a bit of work lately. I’ve been working my way round the site removing out of date information, wherever I spot it, and generally giving things a good clean up. A new landing page has been created (though it’s not quite perfect), enabling a cleaner method of switching between the English version, the Maltese translation, and the Radio In Malta Player when that is reinstated.

The future plans will the see the Radio In Malta Player updated, with dead streams removed, and hopefully more stations added. This should be reinstated this side of Christmas. The Stations page on the main website will see an overhaul, as the massive table isn’t very responsive and can be difficult to navigate on smaller screens. General data updates will happen elsewhere as and when time permits.

Scott’s Transport Site is now over a decade old. With that, I’m reviewing the content hosted on the site. The fleet lists are becoming quite difficult to update, with former data sources now being unenviable or otherwise no longer as reliable as they once were. I’ve got a substantially collection of photos and some video footage that I want to make better use of, and I’m inclined to suggest that a magazine format rather than something heavily data driven is a better option for the website going forward.

Lastly, there’s the ‘main site’ that you’re reading now which is in need of a spruce up. A new Tech Blog has been added, and I’m working my way through the motorsport section as that’s both limited in information and rather out of date. I’m hoping to include some photos and videos in the blogs going forward, as I appreciate the text based articles will not be to everyone’s taste.
