The in ear ones still work but a much quieter in the left ear than right ear, but only lasted a few weeks. That being said, I bought them as they were the cheapest pair Argos had in stock and were used mainly during running and DIY, so have been used intensively. The MDR-ZX310AP over ear headphones have failed entirely in one ear, and they’re only just over a year old.
With the price of some computer comments having increased (or in the case of RAM tripled in price), Micron and Samsung have announced withdrawals of product ranges. What do I predict the impacts of these decisions will be?
I’ve been daily driving Linux Mint on my new to me Dell Latitude laptop (see previous post) for a week now, so I though now was the right time to do a post on the chosen operating system. Drawing comparisons with Windows 10, which I’ve used extensively, and to a lesser extent Windows 11, Linux is favourable.

I’m being kind to the environment, by recently purchasing a new to me Dell Latitute E6410 laptop. My previous laptops (a HP bought new and another second hand Dell), are now at a point where they’re past there prime. Both are repairable (and may get repaired at some point), but with both having failed batteries and other components requiring replacement, they were just going to take too much time and money to justify repairs just now.
